Legos, Legos, Legos, Legos

I built these creations. It took me about four days to build 14 creations. It was really hard work, but once I was done with them, I thought they were awesome.

The first picture is a brown spaceship. The propellors can turn out, and the red and yellow things shoot lasers. There's a hole right in the middle of the propellors, and in order to shoot off the propellors, you would have to hit them right in the middle. What's cool about it is that when you shoot off the propellors, there's two small jets that can keep it in the air.

The second picture shows jet packs.

The third one is a person on a speeder bike.

The 4th one is R2D2.

The last one is a guy on a spaceship. The ship's weapons rotate, and there's a screen to show the guy what's behind him.

Me and G

One day while I was looking at my Lego Stars Wars book I fell asleep. My sweet cat Ginger walked up and cuddled next to me. My Mom thought we were so cute that she snapped this picture of us.

When I woke up, my Mom showed me the picture. I yawned, stretched, picked Ginger up, and cuddled him some more. I love that cat!

prrrrrrr

The End
Good-Bye!

Canada, Canada, Canada

This summer my family and I went to Canada. We did a ton of things, we went wild blueberry picking, hiking, watched sunsets, built things out of rocks, and even saw bear poop. It was awesome! One day we hiked for six hours. My feet were really sore when we finally got back to the campsite, but it was really worth it. I can't believe what beautiful views we saw while in Canada!!!

Pictures, Pictures, Pictures

Mr. Walkie

One day while at a state park, I found a walking stick. I had never seen a wild walking stick before. I was so excited that I showed everyone the walking stick as soon as I could. He felt kind of woody and weird when he walked on me. He walked and he walked, almost all the way up to my shoulder. Then, I picked him up and held him in my hands to get a better look at him. I was amazed how it felt to see one in the wild.
The End
P.S. My little sister really liked him.
P.P.S. I did too!!!

Some of My Builds

One day I decided to build something with some blocks. I wasn't really sure what to build, then suddenly, an idea popped into my head. I could build a rocket, then an even bigger idea popped into my head! I could use the same blocks to make a totally different thing. Here are my creations I made.

My Uncles Dog

Last summer we dog sat for my Uncle's dog. He is so cute. I loved petting him. It makes me feel so good to be around animals.

Snake Eating a Fish!!!!

Candles

One day we made candles out of sheets of bees wax. It wasn't very hard. All you do is cut some wick, roll some bees wax around the wick, and gently press it around the wick. If you want a fancy design cut some bees wax from the sheet and roll or gently press it into swirls around the candle. Another idea would be to roll the wax into a circle and put it on the candle. Stick them on a plate with sand around the bottom of the candles so they stand up and don't burn your house down. Hee hee hee hee! Oh yeah!

Snakey and Lunch

One day while walking on the rocky shores of Rock Island, my dad spotted this snake. The snake had caught this fish in the water and dragged it up onto land. We watched it for a little over an hour and the fish was about 1/2 way down the snakes throat when we left. The only reason we left was because the snake was hot (I could sense that it was hot) and it slithered under a rock to eat the rest of the fish. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. P.S. My mom said it was probably a once in a life time experience to see a snake eat the fish in the wild!

Boundary Waters

Recently my sister went to the Boundary Waters for 11 days. She took some awesome pictures, but I can't post all of them because it would take up the whole page. She took pictures of a canoe, ducks and lots of other ones like this!

Strawberries

One day my family and I went Strawberry picking. My little sister took this picture of the strawberries. I think this strawberry picture is one of the best pictures she has ever taken. Most of the time her pictures are pretty blurry, but she is getting better at it as time goes on. Together between 2 trips we picked 51 pounds of strawberries. We are eating them, making jam with them and freezing them. Yum, Yum, the end!

I'm Sad

Today my sister left for the Boundary Waters. When she left I was so sad that I walked around with my head down, my arms dangling, and feeling just miserable. The reason I was feeling so sad is because she always makes me feel good. Just being around her makes me feel happier, especially when bad things happen. She just goes with the flow and calms me. She helps me feel better by giving me good reasons to feel better! I love my sister and can't wait until she's back!

I Saw Grandma Kissing Lego Man

Last fall, we went to Chicago for Lego Fest and saw this weird Lego dude. My grandma sat on the bench next to him and kissed him. The reason we went to Lego Fest was because I love Legos so much that I build anything I can think of out of Legos. I saw a Lego triceratops, Harry Potter, Ron, Hermione, and Hegrid built out of Legos. We also got to meet this Lego dude who has designed all of the Lego Architecture sets. When we met him he was building the Taj Mahal out of Legos. It was so much fun, now I think I will go and build something.

P.S. There was candy at Lego Fest;)
P.S. (again) Grandma, I hope I didn't embarrass you!!!!!

Fatty Butt and Kittens

Just seeing Charlie makes me feel closer to him.

P.S. my mom didn't want me to title this Fatty Butt and kittens, but I did anyway. Hehehehe! !!!!!

Charlie Is Still With Me

This is Charlie. He would be three this month if he were still alive. He is not with me physically but he will be in my heart and mind forever. I LOVE YOU CHAR-CHAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Miss My Cat

Gardening

Whenever my Mom gardens I like to help. My mom usually lets me help, but not always. When I do get to help, I have so much fun I that wish I could do it forever! My favorite part of gardening is that we can grown some of our food so we don't have to buy as much. I like tasting the tomatoes, berries, and herbs, fresh out of the garden. I like weeding because the weeds are bad for the planet and for the plants. The weeds are bad for the plants because the weeds crowd out the plants and steal the nutrients so they can't grow. Get out and Garden! Once you do it for a while I bet you will really like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Swallow's Nest

One day while walking under a bridge I saw a swallow's nest. The bad thing about the nest was that 2 of its rooms had fallen off. There was a pile of old nest making supplies on the concrete below the nest, which had crumbled apart and turned into dirt. One of the swallows came swooping out of the nest at me. It was really exciting. The End Hahaha

The Moon

One night I was on Rock Island with my 2 sisters, my mom, and my dad. We had stayed up late to see the sunset and it was super beautiful. After the sunset we saw the moon, it was just a little over half full. This is a picture of it. The reason we have a moon is because of the earth's gravitational pull. It pulled in little bits and pieces of astroids and microscopic particles. After it pulled everything together, it resulted in what we see today.

You Wouldn't Want to Fall Down on This

One day while hiking by Devil's Lake we where on the Pothole Trail. It was super rocky. I bet the cliff was at least 20 feet high, so you wouldn't want to fall down. If you did you would probably crack your head open and die. That is unless you had a rocket booster and a parachute with you... The End Hahaha

Beetle, Lake, and Dragonfly

Get out, explore, and maybe you will find some awesome things. Here are somethings I found while hiking at Devils Lake.

Ginger Uses a Ruler

Yesterday, I was measuring a bunch of stuff. I measured so much that my cat wanted to measure too. I left the ruler on the floor and he measured his paw, one of the kitchen tiles, and he pushed the ruler over to the refrigerator and measured the foot of the refrigerator. It was really funny. The End! Hahaha!

My Dad's 39th Birthday

My Dad turned 39 on May 4th 2011. My sister made this cake. I think that it is the most extraordinary cake I have ever see in my life. I gave my Dad $10 to buy a bird feeder and bird seed. I helped him pick out the feeder and the seed. Since we put up the feeder it has attracted a ton of beautiful birds. They have gobbled down the food and emptied the feeder 1 1/2 times already. I hope they keep coming to our feeder forever!
