Snake Eating a Fish!!!!

Candles

One day we made candles out of sheets of bees wax. It wasn't very hard. All you do is cut some wick, roll some bees wax around the wick, and gently press it around the wick. If you want a fancy design cut some bees wax from the sheet and roll or gently press it into swirls around the candle. Another idea would be to roll the wax into a circle and put it on the candle. Stick them on a plate with sand around the bottom of the candles so they stand up and don't burn your house down. Hee hee hee hee! Oh yeah!

Snakey and Lunch

One day while walking on the rocky shores of Rock Island, my dad spotted this snake. The snake had caught this fish in the water and dragged it up onto land. We watched it for a little over an hour and the fish was about 1/2 way down the snakes throat when we left. The only reason we left was because the snake was hot (I could sense that it was hot) and it slithered under a rock to eat the rest of the fish. It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. P.S. My mom said it was probably a once in a life time experience to see a snake eat the fish in the wild!

Boundary Waters

Recently my sister went to the Boundary Waters for 11 days. She took some awesome pictures, but I can't post all of them because it would take up the whole page. She took pictures of a canoe, ducks and lots of other ones like this!

Strawberries

One day my family and I went Strawberry picking. My little sister took this picture of the strawberries. I think this strawberry picture is one of the best pictures she has ever taken. Most of the time her pictures are pretty blurry, but she is getting better at it as time goes on. Together between 2 trips we picked 51 pounds of strawberries. We are eating them, making jam with them and freezing them. Yum, Yum, the end!
